SAMS Institute Highlights 2025 Medical Training Outcomes in Damascus

SAMS Institute has released an overview of its medical training activities conducted in Damascus during 2025, reflecting its ongoing commitment to strengthening continuous medical education and enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals across Syria.
Throughout the year, the institute delivered a series of specialized training programs, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Intensive Care Unit (ICU) training, and Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS). These programs aim to improve the capacity of healthcare workers to effectively manage critical and emergency cases in line with international medical standards.
The trainings were conducted at Damascus University Hospital and Al-Mowasat Hospital, targeting resident physicians across multiple specialties such as internal medicine, anesthesia, emergency medicine, cardiology, and thoracic surgery, in addition to healthcare staff and ICU technicians.
According to the institute, a total of seven specialized training sessions were delivered in Damascus in 2025, benefiting 271 healthcare professionals under the supervision of seven certified trainers.
SAMS Institute emphasized that these efforts reflect its continued commitment to advancing medical education and strengthening the readiness of healthcare providers, ultimately contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services in Syria.
